Hi, I’m Sarah Sommer—an adult lesson rider, seasonal traveler, and lifelong storyteller. Life in Two Saddles is my space to share the ride, both on horseback and through life’s winding trails.

Half the year, I live in the bustling and ever-growing Dallas–Fort Worth area, where I take English riding lessons and soak up every moment of barn life. The other half, I’m in Hoonah, Alaska—a remote coastal town rich in Indigenous culture and natural beauty, where the pace slows and cruise ships bring bursts of summer energy.
